…-03-01) Hawaii raised the TANF/TAONF monthly assistance allowance from 48% to 62% of the standard of need effective March 1, 2025 (DHS BESSD section 346-51.5 HRS report). The standard of need ($1,590 for a family of 3) stays frozen at the 2006 Hawaii FPL; only the assistance-allowance rate changed. Family of 3: 1,590 x 0.62 x 0.80 (mandatory-work reduction) = 788.64, matching the DHS worked example ($610 -> $789).
